Ferrari 250 GTO - Art Print

This stunning limited edition art print displays the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO from a top view. Ferrari produced just 36 250 GTOs between 1962 and 1964. This includes 33 cars with the 1962-1963 bodywork (this is the one displayed on the art print) and three cars with the 1964 bodywork. Four of the older bodies were converted to the Series II bodies.

Undoubtedly, the Ferrari 250 GTO is one of the most iconic automobiles we ever graced. Apart from being really iconic, it’s also the most expensive car ever sold. Several examples broke auction record throughout the years, most recently a 1964 250 GTO (Series I car, Series II body) which sold for $70 million in a private deal.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Julian Thomson is a well-respected car designer living and working in England. Thomson graduated from the Royal College of Art where he studied vehicle design. He has since worked at Ford, Lotus, VW, Audi and Jaguar Land Rover.

He is best known for his work on the Lotus Elise, Range Rover Evoque and current Jaguar cars where he now works with long term friend, Ian Callum. Julian has always been a keen car photographer and illustrator, he is also a big fan of classic race cars and all things automotive. He is currently Jaguar's Director of Advanced Design, but in his spare time enjoys putting together striking artworks and riding dirt bikes.
