This fabulous prints shows the Ferrari 330 P4 driven by Nino Vaccarella and Ludovico Scarfiotti during the 1967 Targa Florio. Sadly, they were not able to finish the endurance race because of an accident. Paul Hawkins and Rolf Stommelen managed to win the race in their Porsche 910.
The production of the mid-engine Ferrari 330 P4 began in 1967 and the car replaced the 330 P3. Ferrari produced just four P4-engined cars: three new ones and a 330 P3 chassis fitted with the P4 engine. Their three-valve cylinder head was modeled after those of Italian Grand Prix-winning Formula One cars.
The Ferrari 330 P3 won the 1966 1000 km Monza, and the 330 P4 won the same race in 1967. During the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, two 330 P4s and one Ferrari 412 P crossed the finish line together. Ford managed to do the same with their GTs the year before, so Ferrari teased the American marque with the fact they made a photo as well.
