Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta by Frederic Dams

€45

The Ferrari 250 GT Short Wheel Base is undoubtedly one of the most notable and beautiful GT racers of its time. Just 176 units were built, both steel and aluminum bodies were used in various road and racing trims.

Development of the Ferrari 250 GT SWB was handled by Giotto Bizzarrini, Carlo Chiti, and young Mauro Forghieri. The same guys would produce the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO years later.

The Ferrari 250 GT SWB won the GT class of the 1961 Constructor's Championship, and the 1960, 1961 and 1962 Tour de France Automobile before giving ground to the 250 GTO's.

In 2004, Sports Car International placed the 250 GT SWB seventh on a list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s, and Motor Trend Classic placed it fifth on a list of the ten "Greatest Ferraris of all time".

This stunning limited edition art print displays - among others - the car Sir Stirling Moss (#2119GT) drove and the car that the Belgium racing team Ecurie Francorchamps owned (#2069GT).
