To be the absolute fastest, more than 1,000 brake horsepower was needed.
But the Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale succeeded. Raffaele de Simone (Ferrari Head of Development Test Driving) set a time of 1.17.309, 1.4 seconds quicker than the 'regular' Ferrari SF90 Stradale.
Press introduction
The record was set on 16 October 2023 during the press introduction of the car. The telemetry was independently measured and certified by an external specialist motorsport agency. Its time was an improvement of an impressive 1.4 seconds compared to the time set with the SF90 Stradale. That car was equipped with the Assetto Fiorano package and wore the same type of tires as the SF90 XX, Michelin Cup2R.
From 15 December onwards, you can admire the SF90 XX Stradale in the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, as well as a small exhibition with information about the car and the record.
