Aerodynamics and Design
Aero tuning: Revised side air intakes and body detailing accompanied the redesigned drivetrain installation
Design focus: The Mondial t retained the Pininfarina-designed four-seat Mondial profile while receiving smaller rectangular side intakes, updated exterior detailing and a revised cabin. The longitudinal engine and transverse gearbox arrangement also allowed Ferrari to lower the car’s center of gravity compared with the preceding Mondial 3.2.

Special Editions
No separate factory special edition of the Mondial t coupé formed part of the regular model range. Late in production Ferrari offered the uncommon Valeo electronically actuated clutch system, which allowed the conventional manual gearbox to be shifted without a clutch pedal. It remained an optional drivetrain configuration rather than a separate special-edition model.
