1. Scope, operator and relationship to other brands

This Privacy Policy describes how FerrariChat, LLC ("ROSSOautomobili," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information in connection with ROSSOautomobili.com, its forums, user accounts, member profiles, private conversations, media, classifieds, paid memberships, sponsorships and services it operates (the "Services"). ROSSOautomobili is a separately operated business. A relationship with duPont REGISTRY Group or other businesses does not by itself mean those businesses own ROSSOautomobili data or act as its controller. Where an independently operated marketplace, advertiser or other third party processes information for its own purposes, its own privacy notice may apply. Contact: admin@ferrarichat.com. This notice supplements, but does not replace, applicable forum Terms of Service.

2. Categories of personal information we collect

We may collect: (a) account and contact data, such as username, email, account credentials in protected form, account creation date, contact details and optional profile fields; (b) forum and community information, including posts, threads, reactions, media uploads, signatures, profile messages, reports and moderation history; (c) private conversations and communications sent using the Service, which are not public but may be accessed or disclosed for technical operation, security, investigations, lawful requests or enforcement when authorized; (d) membership, advertising and transaction records, such as subscription tier, purchases, billing contact, invoices, refunds, listing details and customer-support exchanges; (e) security and device data, such as IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, browser/device identifiers, login history, referral URLs, timestamps, cookie identifiers, anti-fraud signals and logs; (f) preferences and engagement, including notification choices, search and page interactions; and (g) information from third parties, such as payment processors, fraud services, advertising partners, authentication services or integrated marketplaces, where actually used. We do not require all categories for every member. Sensitive identity, precise location, bank, government-ID or financial information is collected only when a documented service or legal requirement justifies it. Information requested for registration, billing or identity verification must be relevant to the applicable Service or transaction.

3. Sources and methods of collection

Information comes from you when registering, editing profiles, posting, messaging, purchasing memberships, placing classifieds, contacting staff, submitting reports or joining promotions; automatically from browsers, cookies, server logs and authorized analytics or ad technologies; and from third-party service providers and integration partners where lawful. Information may be inferred from use of the Services. Public contributions are visible to other members and often to search engines; do not publish personal information you wish to keep confidential.

4. How we use personal information

We process information to operate accounts and forums; authenticate users; display and organize posts; provide subscriptions and listings; process authorized charges and support requests; administer moderation and member safety; detect spam, impersonation, fraud and security incidents; troubleshoot, analyze and improve performance; personalize preferences and content; provide notices and requested communications; support advertising and measure campaign performance; comply with legal obligations; protect legal rights; and conduct lawful business operations, including corporate transactions. We may use aggregated or appropriately de-identified information for analytics, product improvement and reporting. We do not represent that anonymization is irreversible where reidentification remains reasonably possible.

5. Public content, profiles and private conversations

Public forum posts, threads, replies, photographs, attachments, classifieds, member profiles, reactions, quotations and other contributions may be indexed, quoted, archived, syndicated or republished. ROSSOautomobili reserves the right, but has no obligation, to preserve these materials and their attribution as part of the community record, including after a member requests account closure, is suspended or banned, or ceases using the Services. Closing an account does not automatically delete the account record, username, posts, threads, messages, attachments, quotations, or copies retained by others. ROSSOautomobili also reserves the right to retain private conversations and direct messages, including messages in other participants’ inboxes, where reasonably necessary for operation, safety, investigation, recordkeeping, dispute resolution or other lawful purposes. Private conversations are not publicly listed, but should not be treated as end-to-end encrypted or inaccessible to authorized personnel; access may occur where necessary and lawful for support, abuse investigations, security, legal process or technical maintenance. Moderation records, reports and related evidence may be retained. These reservations are subject to applicable privacy laws and enforceable rights to erasure or deletion. Members should avoid sharing sensitive personal information in posts or messages. The Terms of Service address licenses for user content, including limits on use of private messages; this Privacy Policy governs processing of personal information and applicable privacy rights.

6. Cookies, analytics, advertising and tracking

We may use necessary cookies for login, security, preferences and session operation; functionality cookies; analytics and performance technologies; and, where deployed, advertising cookies, pixels, tags, web beacons and device identifiers to deliver, personalize, measure and limit ads. Advertising partners may collect IP addresses, device/browser data, page visits, approximate location and interactions, including across websites, subject to their own notices and applicable law. ROSSOautomobili displays advertising and affiliate links; advertising, analytics and tracking technologies may be provided by third-party service providers, advertisers, advertising networks or platforms, traffic measurement services and marketing analytics providers. Such providers may process data subject to their own privacy notices and applicable law. Where required, nonessential tracking will be subject to prior consent or an effective opt-out. Browser controls and industry opt-outs may limit some tracking, but may not prevent all necessary cookies. You may manage or reject certain cookies through your browser settings and may contact us using the information in Section 19 with questions about available advertising and privacy choices.

7. Targeted advertising, sale/share and privacy choices

ROSSOautomobili does not characterize a transfer of information as a "sale" solely because money changes hands; applicable state laws may define "sale," "sharing" or "targeted advertising" to include disclosures through advertising technologies even without monetary payment. Eligible users may submit requests to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising by emailing admin@ferrarichat.com. We will also honor recognized opt-out preference signals and provide other opt-out methods where required by applicable law. We will not knowingly sell or share personal information of minors in violation of applicable law. Non-targeted advertising may continue after an opt-out. You may also use applicable browser or device controls and industry advertising opt-out mechanisms, although these may not prevent all necessary processing.

8. When and with whom we disclose information

We may disclose information to: hosting, cloud, security, email, anti-spam, analytics, payment, customer-support and technical vendors acting under appropriate arrangements; advertising and measurement partners as described above; marketplace and transaction providers when a user initiates an integration or transaction; legal authorities and parties where required or permitted to respond to valid process, protect safety or enforce rights; professional advisers; and a successor in a merger, financing, restructuring or authorized sale, subject to applicable privacy requirements. Information may be shared with genuinely affiliated businesses for specified services or marketing only where legally permitted, appropriately disclosed and consistent with ROSSOautomobili's corporate authority. We do not treat corporate affiliation as blanket permission for unrestricted access to forum databases or private conversations. Publicly posted information is accessible to other users and may be collected by independent third parties.

9. Payments, memberships, classifieds and third-party integrations

Paid memberships, sponsorships and classified services may require billing and transaction information. Payments may be handled by third-party processors, which may independently collect payment-card details and apply their own privacy policies. ROSSOautomobili does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes. For payments, ROSSOautomobili stores payment tokens provided by its payment processors, together with necessary transaction records such as billing details, purchase history and receipts where applicable. Third-party payment processors may process payment-card information under their own privacy policies. When users click through to third-party marketplaces, dealers, escrow providers, affiliate merchants or vehicle services, those operators may collect additional personal information under their own policies. ROSSOautomobili does not automatically collect driver's licenses, bank-routing numbers, vehicle ownership documents or credit information simply because a third-party marketplace offers those services.

10. Communications and marketing

We may send service-related messages about account security, password changes, moderation, subscriptions, transactions, legal updates and privacy requests. Where permitted, we may send newsletters, promotions and sponsor communications, with legally required unsubscribe options. Marketing texts or automated promotional calls, if offered, require separate legally sufficient consent; acceptance of this Privacy Policy is not by itself such consent. If ROSSOautomobili offers an SMS program, enrollment will require applicable consent; message frequency may vary, carrier charges may apply, and recipients may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance.

11. Retention and deletion

ROSSOautomobili expressly reserves the right, but does not undertake an obligation, to retain user accounts and account identifiers; usernames and profile information; forum posts, threads, replies, images and attachments; classifieds and transaction-related communications; private conversations, direct messages and message histories; moderation records, complaints, reports and security logs; and backups or archives, including after a user deactivates an account, requests deletion, is suspended, is banned or dies. A request to close, deactivate or delete an account does not itself entitle a user to have the account record, username, contributions, or sent or received messages erased. Content may be retained to preserve discussion continuity, historical and technical archives, other participants’ messages and quotations, community integrity, safety, fraud prevention, legal claims, compliance and other lawful business purposes. ROSSOautomobili may instead restrict access, remove identifying details, anonymize content or delete records when it considers that appropriate. This reservation does not override any non-waivable right to deletion, erasure, objection or other privacy protection under applicable law; legally valid requests will be evaluated and fulfilled to the extent required, subject to lawful exceptions. ROSSOautomobili may also delete any material at its discretion and does not guarantee indefinite preservation.

12. Security and breach notifications

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of information processed, including controls intended to reduce unauthorized access, loss and misuse. No internet service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Members should use unique passwords, protect credentials and promptly report suspicious activity. Where a security incident triggers applicable notice requirements, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by law and may use email, postal mail or other legally permissible means.

13. U.S. and international processing

ROSSOautomobili's operations and vendors may process or store information in the United States and other locations. Where EU, UK, Canadian or other cross-border transfer laws apply, ROSSOautomobili will use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards as required.

14. U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence and the laws applicable to ROSSOautomobili, you may have rights to confirm processing, access personal information, obtain portability copies, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising, limit certain sensitive-data uses, appeal denials and avoid unlawful discrimination for exercising rights. Rights, verification procedures, exceptions and response deadlines vary. Submit privacy rights requests, including requests to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, to admin@ferrarichat.com. We may verify identity, honor legally recognized authorized agents and explain denials or appeal procedures where required. We will not condition rights on unnecessary collection of additional sensitive identification. California residents may also have rights under applicable direct-marketing disclosure rules.

15. EEA, UK and Canadian rights and legal bases

Where GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA or other applicable laws govern our processing, individuals may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, portability, withdraw consent and complain to a supervisory authority, subject to lawful exceptions. Our legal bases, where required, may include performance of a contract (account and subscriptions), legitimate interests (security, moderation and service improvement), legal obligations and consent (certain marketing and tracking). Legitimate-interest processing is subject to applicable balancing and objection rights.

16. Children and age restrictions

The Services are intended for individuals aged 18 or older, as stated in the Terms of Service. The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information contrary to law. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information may contact admin@ferrarichat.com to request review and appropriate action. Individuals under 18 must not register for or use the Services.

17. External links, embeds, social media and affiliates

Posts and pages may include links, embedded videos, social media content, ads, affiliate commerce links and third-party widgets. Those services may receive information when accessed or loaded and may apply their own privacy notices. ROSSOautomobili does not control their independent privacy practices. Where feasible, users should review third-party policies before submitting information or completing a transaction.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal or technological changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice or seek consent when legally required. Material changes will not be treated as retroactive permission for processing that requires a new legal basis or affirmative consent. Previous versions may be retained for transparency.
